Brian Cooke created Iris Learning in 1994 to help leaders develop businesses that set the highest standards for service and commercial operation.

Brian's consulting emphasizes human capital strategies and principles of quality and lean manufacturing that encourage excellence in customer-driven design, management, measurement, improvement and innovation.

Brian's teaching emphasizes practical approaches and tools for exploring and developing self-confidence, communication, resilience, goal-setting, mindfulness, leadership, teamwork and strategic utilization of competitive strengths.

Brian has earned degrees in history and in leadership, planning and public policy from Harvard University.

Brian is author of "The Best We Can Be: A Guide for Leading Purposeful Change" and "Frank Boyden of Deerfield: The Vision and Politics of an Educational Idealist."
